Artist's Note:

"Fibonacci sequence is a set of numbers that starts with a one or a zero, followed by a one, and proceeds based on the rule that each Fibonacci number is equal to the sum of the preceding two numbers. Everything can fit into this equation...flowers, trees, seashells — even you!

This piece is inspired by Tipper Music, a world class glitch hop artist that changed the game completely in music and the lives of many. The symbol for Tipper is the spiral - and I would say people in general ARE the Question Mark in the Spiral. The Spiral is the shape of us. Surrounded, featured at the top right, is their downtempo album and that which marked a turn in Tipper's musical output — away from the NuSkool genre.

Life is almost like a game or simulation, hence Pac-Man. Vibrations radiate from Pac-Man into the universe creating a human out of a turntable. The holograph shows a chromosome and DNA. To the right are sound waves being turned into a heartbeat. Would we even still be here without music? Yin yang is prominent in my life. I believe you have to have the bad to appreciate the good. As above, so below. The koi character is from a yin yang koi painting I did in high school that I hold close to my heart. Geometry is sacred, and my favorite color purple is depicted in the purple petunia given to me by a special friend.

And last but not least, the place that changed it all— Suwannee. The Suwannee River formed the boundary between the Timucuan on the east and the Apalachee Indians on the west. The magik from the Natives has been left on this land to this day. The Spirit of Suwannee Music Park hosted a show featuring Tipper and Friendz - a life changing event for me and loved ones."
